Abdul Aleem Khan is a successful politician, businessman and philanthropist. Khan was born to a Pashtun family on the 5th of March, 1972 in Lahore, Pakistan.

He received his early education from Crescent Model School, and then shifted to the prestigious Government College University to pursue a Bachelors of Arts degree from 1990-1992. Post-graduation, Abdul Aleem Khan ventured out into the world, and developed a keen interest in politics. He started active participation by contesting for a National Assembly 127 seat, in the general elections held in the year 2002. Following this, Khan contested in the by-elections for the seat of Provincial Assembly and was sworn in as an MPA of Punjab in 2003. He took oath as the first ever Minister of Information Technology in Punjab Cabinet. A newly created department in the province, he shouldered the responsibility of building it up from scratch, to compete globally with a rapidly developing world. The department established IT Labs in government funded schools and colleges, and started a number of projects to computerize all offices and official systems.

Politically, Abdul Aleem Khan was associated with Pakistan Muslim League (Q) in the early 2000's. He served as Vice President of Punjab as well as Finance Secretary Punjab for the party. He also remained Member Provincial Selection Board. After being elected as Provincial Minister Lahore City, one of Pakistan's major hubs, Abdul Aleem Khan was at the forefront of all political activity and was considered to be a vital member of the Cabinet.

An extremely politically astute individual, Aleem Khan harbors a heart that beats with love for his nation, and pride in his people. In the year 2012, he joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf as it was his firm vow to work for the betterment of his countrymen. He dedicated his days towards working for the party, and assumed the role of President of Central Punjab, PTI. Khan's sincere efforts were an immense contributing factor in ensuring PTI was the winning party in the 2018 elections.

In the general elections of 2018, Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan played a leading role in running PTI's election campaign across Punjab. He was also responsible for managing the campaign of Mr Imran Khan for NA 131 elections.

Mr. Khan won the seat of Punjab assembly from PP- 158, and later on joined the cabinet as the Senior Minister, Minister for Local Government and Community Development.

Abdul Aleem Khan has always taken his duties as politician very seriously. The realization that with great power comes great responsibility has always been a driving factor for him. In order to facilitate the public, he set the foundation stone of Abdul Aleem Foundation that is currently working in various sectors. The foundation is currently operating dozens of water filtration plants in the underdeveloped areas of Lahore that have a poor sanitation. Apart from this, the foundation is also running several free dispensaries which provide free medical services and medicines to the people. In the field of education, the foundation is running a school by the name of "Apna Ghar." Apna Ghar is dedicated to providing free education and boarding facilities to orphan young girls. The foundation is completely run by the private donations of Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan.

Mr. Abdul Aleem Khan's work for his people makes it clear that he will continue to serve his people through whatever means available.
